Terms & Conditions

By signing up for a Junk Jamz Collective Monthly Membership, you agree to the following terms:

1. Membership and additional classes

Your monthly membership includes one 60-minute class per week. Membership fees are payable monthly on 1st day of each calendar month and cover the weekly classes for that calendar month.

Classes attended in addition to the one 60-minute class per week are not included in the monthly membership fee and will be charged and invoiced separately, payable by the date shown on the invoice.

2. Missed Classes

Missed classes are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for a cash refund. Junk Jamz Collective may allow a member to attend an alternative session, subject to availability and at our discretion.

3. Refunds

Monthly membership fees are non-refundable, except where a member is unable to participate for medical reasons. Any request for a refund on medical grounds must be supported by appropriate medical evidence. Refunds will be considered based on each individual's circumstances.

4. Membership Cancellation

Memberships operate on an ongoing monthly basis until cancelled. To cancel a membership members must provide one full calendar month’s notice in writing to Junk Jamz Collective. The notice period will begin from the date the cancellation request is received.

Membership fees remain payable during the notice period, and members may continue attending weekly class until the end of their membership. No refund will be provided for membership fees already paid or falling within the notice period, except where cancellation is required for medical reasons and agreed based on appropriate medical evidence being provided.

5. Noise Levels & Hearing Protection

Junk Jamz Collective classes involve instruments and equipment that may produce loud and sustained noise. Exposure to loud noise may cause temporary discomfort, ringing in the ears or long-term hearing damage, particularly if hearing protection is not used. By proceeding to attend classes, members accept the associated risks with exposure to loud and sustained noise.

To minimise such risks, member are expected to take all reasonable steps to protect their hearing and are strongly advised to wear suitable hearing protection, such as earplugs or ear defenders, throughout each class. In addition members should follow and adhere to any additional hearing-protection guidance provided by the instructor.

If a member experiences any symptoms or discomfort with their ears they must stop participating immediately and notify the class instructor and adhere to their recommendations. Any ongoing or severe symptoms should be discussed with a medical professional before returning to class.

6. Class Changes

Junk Jamz Collective reserves the right to make changes to class times, instructors or locations if necessary. If a class is cancelled by Junk Jamz Collective and a suitable replacement session cannot be provided, appropriate credit will be provided.
